Over 10 Private Universities coming to AP Capital

As many as 10 Private Universities have placed fresh proposals of setting up their new campuses in Amaravati before AP Capital. The Expert Committee appointed by the State Government is examining them. Following the nod from the panel, AP Cabinet will discuss it and approve them.
10 Private Universities - World Peace University, Mahatma Gandhi University, Karunya University, Vel Tech University, Saveetha University, Amritha University, Vedic University, Great Lakes International Institute, Seer Academy and YVR.
Already, AP Government has given its consent to four other Universities namely Amity University, Centurion University, Vellore Institute of Technology and SRM University. Altogether, All of these Universities will bring an investment of around Rs 5,000 crore.
AP Government is contemplating on establishing an Education Hub in the state. Attempts were made to attract some of the reputed Foreign Universities to set up their campuses in the state.
