Owaisi- Sajjanars Twitter spat livens up social media

An interesting tweet war ensued between Cyberabad police commissioner VC Sajjanar and MIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi over 'jehads' working in the software companies in and around Hyderabad. It all began with BJP IT functionary Suresh Kochattil sought to know from Sajjanar if the police under Hyderabad, Cyberabad and Rachakonda commissionerates were doing a background check on the wannabe Jihadis who were working for the American software companies in the city.

Cyberabad commissioner VC Sajjanar replied through tweet thus: "Yes sir... We have specialised wings for collection of advance intel and our teams are on the job 24X7. Thanks for alerting us. Please keep us updated if you find anything suspicious."

This was enough to make Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi see red. He flared up and countered Sajjanar through a tweet. He also found fault with Sajjanar addressing Kochattil 'sir." He tweeted thus: "Sir, you say 'yes sir'. Please enlighten how many such 'jihadis' are working in software companies, kindly give a number, if not, please clarify what you exactly meant. Will you reply to an MP or only to a Bhakt."

Not content with the jibe, Owaisi continued his tweet war saying that terrorism has no religion. In another tweet, he attacked the top cop referring to his pre-dawn encounter of four rapists in the infamous Disha case. "Whatever you do but no killings in the name of 'encounter' at 5 am please, if possible arrest & as accepted 3rd degree will be given but pls no cartoos in stomach. "

At this Sajjanar tried to diffuse the tension saying: "Our tweet has been misconstrued. The intent is only to suggest that we are always alert and well-equipped to ensure security and it does not mean to agree with the suggestion. We reiterate that we are committed to maintain peace and order in the society without any prejudice towards any person or community"
