Former Finance Minister P Chidambaram made a sensational statement on demonetisation, which is intended at targeting PM Narendra Modi & Finance Minister Arun Jaitley. 'I would have resigned if I was forced by My Prime Minister to implement Note Ban,' he told.

Chidambaram opined poor implementation of Demonetisation & GST are the two major setbacks of the Modi-led NDA Government. 'While Demonetisation is a bad idea, GST is a good idea but it's been implemented in a hasty manner,' says the Ex-Union Minister.

Multiple Tax Slabs in GST is the one thing P Chidambaram disapproves. He opined Centre should have capped GST at 18 percent, instead of higher 28 percent tax.

Responding on the huge expenditure for Bullet Train, Chidambaram opined hardly 600 people will travel in it when it's operational. He feels Centre should have spent the money for health and education.
