Water Leakages in chambers of AP Ministers Devineni Uma and Ganta Srinivasa Rao on Monday has embarrassed the TDP Government. While Opposition Leaders began making corruption allegations citing the leakage, TDP Leaders opined leakage isn't a big issue at all.

AP Municipal Minister P Narayana: 'Water Leakage didn't happen due to slab or poor quality material used for construction. Deck-Slab System was used for construction of AP Secretariat. The sheet beneath the slab wasn't cut properly and hence the water which fell on it entered into the chamber. The issue has been identified and sheet will be chopped off once if the rainfall stop. Contractor himself will take care of the maintenance or any issues related to these structures for the first 2 years. So, There is no need to create a scene at all'.

YSR Congress MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy alleged irregularities in the construction led to water leakage. He demanded a CBI Probe over the misuse of funds in the name of construction of AP Secretariat and Assembly. 'What should we say if leakages happen with a single rainfall despite spending Rs 1,000 crore?,' he questioned.
