Padma Awards Bjp Veteran Leaders Spb Awarded Posthumously

To honour the talent in the film fraternity, the Indian government had announced the list of Padma Shri Award winners. The Award ceremony that was supposed to be held last year was postponed due to the novel Coronavirus. The ceremony for 2020 and 2021 was held today at the national capital. In total, the government had picked seven personalities for Padma Vibhushan, 10 and 102 personalities for Padma Bhushan, and Padma Shri awards.
102 personalities from various fields were chosen for the Padma Shri Award on the grounds of their valuable work and contribution to their respective fields. Ganagandharva S.P.Balasubrahmanyam was awarded the Padma Shri Award posthumously. Veteran Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) leaders Sushma Swaraj and Arun Jaitley were also presented with the award posthumously.
Those who received Padma Shri Award include PV Sindhu, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, Karan Johar, Ekta Kapoor, women's hockey team captain Rani Rampal, Suresh Wadkar and Adnan Sami(singers) Hindustani singer Pandit Chhannulal Mishra, Ex -ICMR head scientist Dr. Raman Gangakhedkar, Air Marshal Dr. Padma Bandopadhyay, and others.
Shinzo Abe, SP Balasubrahmanyam (posthumous), Dr. Belle Monappa Hegde, Narinder Singh Kapany (posthumous), Maulana Wahiduddin Khan, BB Lal, and Sudarshan Sahoo are the awardees of the Padma Vibhushan Awards for the year 2021. Padma awards are the fourth highest civilian awards in India.
Sushma Swaraj (posthumous), George Fernandes (posthumous), Arun Jaitley (posthumous), Sir Anerood Jugnauth, Mary Kom,Chhannulal Mishra, Vishwesha Teertha (posthumous) are the winners of the Padma Vibhushan award for the last year.
The Rashtrapati Bhavan at the national capital Delhi hosted the Padma Award ceremony on November 8. 29 women were facilitated with the awards, while 16 awards are posthumous. One transgender received the award.
Padma Awards are given to the personalities for their valuable work and contribution to various fields like art, social work, medicine, literature, sports, and civil service. Street vendors who are selling food for less cost to feed others were also presented with the award.
The honorable President Ramnath Kovind did the honours and presented the awards for the winners. After the ceremony, the winners posed with President Ramnath Kovind, Vice-President Venkaiah Naidu, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
