Once again Pakistan's double standards against terrorism exposed to the world. In a shocking turnover Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi, one of the main accused in the Mumbai attacks case, was granted bail on Thursday.The Pakistani anti-terrorism court granted bail to Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi in Mumbai attacks case against payment of surety bonds worth Rs. 5,00,000

Lakhvi was a senior member of the Lashkar-e-Taiba and he was arrested in December 2008, soon after the serial attacks rocked Mumbai.He was one of the master mind behind brutal Mumbai terror attacks .He reportedly offered to pay the family of Azam Amir Kasab the sum of Rs.150,000 for his participation in the attacks.

Indian officials named him as one of four possible major planners behind the November 2008 Mumbai Attacks.On December 7, 2008 Pakistani armed forces arrested Lakhvi in a raid on an LeT training camp near Muzafarabad in Pakistani Kashmir.Pakistan confirmed the arrest but refused to hand over any of its citizens to Indian authorities.

Other side shocked with the development Home Minister Rajnath Singh has said he hopes Pakistan will appeal in a higher court against the grant of bail .Officials stated that any Pakistani citizen accused of involvement in the attack would be tried in Pakistan.
