Hafiz Saeed Can't Collect Funds Anymore
By: Tupaki Desk | 2 Jan 2018 7:09 AM GMTThe Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) passed an order prohibiting Jamaat-ud Dawa (JuD) Chief Hafiz Saeed's Falah-i-Insaniat Foundation from raising funds. Pakistan announced this decision on the same day Donald Trump stopped aid to it for allegedly offering shelter for Terrorists.
SECP banned collection of funds by all the Organisations in the list of banned outfits by UN Security Council. Banned organizations include Paasban-i-Ahle-Hadith and Pasban-i-Kashmir. Those Organisations which violate the above ruling will have to face a hefty penalty of Rs 10 million.
The other day, Trump said US only received lies and deceit from Pakistan for $33 billion aid it received over the last 15 years.
Hafiz Saeed, Mumbai Terror Attack Mastermind, was kept under house arrest from January to November 2017 by Pakistan. Lahore High Court disapproved the plea to extend his confinement any further.
