Pakistan handed over IAF Pilot Abhinandan Varthaman to India at the Wagah Border on Friday night. The Wing Commander was made to deliver a video message by the Pakistani Army before leaving their country. Pakistan Government released the recorded footage to the local media at 8.30 pm.
In the video message, Abhinandan Varthaman explained what happened after he ejected from the Aircraft in the Pakistan territory. He told Pakistan Army saved him from the angry mob which attacked him and provided necessary medical assistance. The IAF Pilot claimed to be impressed with the manner in which he was treated by the Pakistan Army. He found fault with the Indian Media for spicing up even small things for the sake of sensationalism.
