As per reports Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi has denied a visa to Bollywood actor Anupam Kher who recently won Padma Bhushan award; The highest civilian award.
Kher was scheduled to attend Karachi Literature Festival on February 5 and he along with other celebs applied for visa. Out of 18 participants, 17 were given visa and visa for Kher was denied. Anupam Kher took to twitter to express his disappointment and questioned the hidden reasons behind denial of his visa.
In a series of tweets Kher expressed doubt if visa was denied because he's a Kashmiri Pandit. He also reminded about speaking on tolerance issue few days back.
"Has my visa been denied because I speak about India's rich tradition of tolerance or I am a Kashmiri Pandit who may expose Pak terror nexus?''
