Did AIADMK MLAs receive Rs 5 crore each?

Despite people favoring O Panneerselvam, Majority of the AIADMK Legislators remained loyal to VK Sasikala Natarajan. They even backed Sasikala's nominee Palanisamy as Leader of Legislative Party even after her conviction in the Rs 66.65 crore disproportionate assets case. Several versions were doing rounds regarding the behind-the-scene drama in AIADMK since the past one week.
As per speculations in political circles, Each of 124 MLAs in Sasikala's Camp were offered Rs 5 crore to remain loyal. While Rs 3 crore has been paid in advance, Additional Rs 2 crore will be offered once Palanisamy wins the trust vote in Assembly. Altogether, Rs 620 crore have been spent for this exercise.
CM Palansamy is all set to face the Vote of Confidence on Saturday. He is most likely to emerge victorious in the battle against O Panneerselvam.
