Is Pallamraju Up-To-Date?
By: Tupaki Desk | 12 Aug 2018 9:14 AM GMTFor the first time in the history of Andhra Pradesh, TDP and Congress which are known to be arch-rivals are looking forward to have a pre-poll alliance for 2019 Elections. When people across the state have full clarity on what's gonna happen in future, Some of the Senior Politicians have been pretending as if nothing of that sort would happen even in anyone's wildest dreams.
Former Union Minister Pallamraju declared there is absolutely no truth in the reports of pre-poll alliance between TDP and Congress. 'TDP-Congress alliance is just a speculation. TDP was floated with the sole agenda to deny power to Congress. Then, how can we form alliance with such a party?,' he questioned.
Pallamraju explained TDP backed Congress in the Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman election just because of the strained relations between Chandrababu Naidu and Narendra Modi. He added, 'That doesn't mean TDP-Congress would contest jointly. Anti-incumbency is growing against the Centre and State Government. Such a situation would eventually help Congress. We can't form alliance with TDP when the mood of the public is against the Ruling Party'.
Here, Pallamraju mayn't be either updating himself on latest political developments or he doesn't want alliance with TDP as a Congress loyalist. Which one of them is true?
