Manchu multi-starrer Pandavulu Pandavulu Thummeda failed to encash the good reviews and positive word-of-mouth. The film which was said to be a laugh riot failed to set the cash registers ringing at the Box Office during its opening weekend.
As per the trade, Pandavulu Pandavulu Thummeda was made with a huge budget of Rs 30 crore. Mohan Babu refused Rs 20 crore offer for theatrical rights and preferred an own release to make profits.
Despite huge casting, Pandavulu Pandavulu Thummeda recorded below par openings as the films lacks a star who could draw the crowds to theaters. Chances are high that makers of this family entertainer will be incurring hefty losses for investing more than the market of the heroes.
