Pandemic Cases In India Reached 2.86-Lakh

On the other hand, 357 fatalities were reported in the past 24 hours that takes the toll of the total fatalities in India to 8,102. The new fatalities mark the highest fatality in a single day.
The active cases in India rose to 137,448, while more than 1.40 lakh people managed to recover from the fatal virus so far.
Maharashtra reported 3,235 fresh cases of the pandemic in the past 24 hours which takes the count of the cases in the state to 94,041. What's even shocking is that Mumbai alone has 52,667.
National Capital Delhi too reported a surge of cases with more than 1,500 cases and the total cases stood at 32,810. This is the second time, Delhi reported more than 1500 cases in a single day.
Tamil Nadu witnessed 1,927 new cases of the pandemic in the last 24 hours, taking the toll of the cases to 36,841. Tamil Nadu straightaway reported more than 1,500 cases for the fourth consecutive day.
