Pandemic Cases In India Surpassed 3 Lakh-Mark With More Than 11k Fresh Cases

With the fresh addition of cases, the toll of the total cases in India reached 308,993. Shockingly, India took only ten days to reach a 3-lakh mark from 2 lakh-mark which shows the rapid growth of the virus.
Talking about the fatalities, 389 fresh fatalities were reported in the past 24 houses which takes the toll of the total fatalities to 8,886 in the country. The new addition of fatalities is the highest single-day surge so far.
To date, more than 1.5 lakh patients were recovered from the pandemic which takes the active cases in India to 145,779.
On the other hand, Maharashtra reported the highest surge of cases with 3,493 fresh cases in the past 24 hours making it the first state in India to have more than one lakh case. The total cases in Maharashtra stood at 101,141.
National Capital Delhi too witnessed the highest jump of cases in a single day with more than 2,000 cases taking the toll of the total cases to 36,824. Delhi reported 1,214 fatalities so far which is the third-highest.
