Covid-19 Infections In AP Surpass 8 Lakh Mark

The ongoing dreaded pandemic continues to ring the danger bells in Andhra Pradesh, as the fresh cases are increasing with each day passing. The total Covid-19 infections in the state surpassed the 8 lakh mark.
In the last 24 hours, as many as 3,765 fresh cases were reported, which takes the total caseload to a whopping 8,00,684. Over, the past few days, the fresh cases have been decreasing.
So far, a total of 6,544 patients have breathed their last battling the dreaded virus in the state, including 20 patients succumbing to the respiratory disease in the past 24 hours.
However, the fresh recoveries too, took a massive dip in the past 24 hours. With, 4,281 patients beating the virus, total recoveries zoomed to 7,62,419. The active cases stood at 31,721.
Looking at the fresh Corona infections in 24 hours, Guntur reported 523 cases, followed by East Godavari(475), Krishna(460), Chittor(347), Prakasham(317), and Vishakapatnam(218).
