Pandemic Dairies: TTD Suspends Time Slot Darshan Tickets

The ongoing pandemic, which is spreading rapidly in Andhra Pradesh has hit Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams(TTD) hard as so far around 170 infections were detected at the holy shrine.
With the rapid growth of the cases at the shrine, the concerned authorities decided to suspend the Srivari Sarvadarshan time slot tokens temporarily.
TTD issued an official statement in this regard and urged the devotees that 3,000 Srivari Sarvadarshanam time slot tokens which were issued offline suspended temporarily as the cases are increasing and said the new date when the tokens will issue will be announced soon.
The other day, former head Archaka of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Srinivasamurthy Dikshitulu who worked at the holy shrine for over three decades succumbed to the contagious disease
Looking at the cases in the state, the total toll in the state surpassed the 50,000-mark with Andhra Pradesh reported over 5,000 cases on Sunday which is the highest spike of cases in a single day.
