The deadly respiratory disease Covid is getting dangerous with each day passing. The States/ Union Territories are being forced to take up the option lockdown as an effective measure to see that the virus is not spread further.
Corona situations that seemed to be under control in the country after the first phase of Covid turned worse, forcing one after the state to opt for lockdown as an effective measure to curb the infections.
Maratha land Maharashtra, the severely hit state in the country became the first state in the country to impose lockdown as an effective measure to curb the infections triggered by Covid-19 after the nationwide lockdown was lifted in phases.
After the nationwide lockdown was lifted in phases in India, the virus appeared to be under control. However, months after lifting lockdown, things turned ugly and the nation was hit severely by the second wave.
With the state reporting new Covid infections and casualties in big numbers, Maharashtra imposed a lockdown for one more time when the second wave of the virus has hit the country.
Since then there is no stopping. One after the other state is opting for a lockdown decision so that the situation gets under control.
Starting with Maharashtra, 14 states/ UTs are following lockdown measures to see that the situation under control.
Maharashtra, Kerala, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Bihar, Chandigarh, Goa, Haryana, and Manipur are following lockdown measures of partial lockdown.
