Pandemic Infections In AP Inching Towards 4 Lakh-Mark

The fresh Coronavirus infections are increasing rapidly day by day in Andhra Pradesh which is the third worst-affected state in the country. With more than 10,000 new cases the total cases are inching towards the 4 lakh-mark.
According to the health bulletin, as many as 61,300 samples were tested in the state and 10,621 patients were found positive for the disease. With this, the total cases zoomed to 3,93,090.
Andhra Pradesh which has been witnessing the rise of fatalities reported 92 fresh casualties in the last 24 hours and the total casualties mounted to 3,633.
On a brighter note, 8,528 patients recovered from the Coronavirus in the last 24 hours. So far 2,95,248 patients have been recovered, while the active cases stood at 94,209.
East Godavari continues to be the worst-affected region with 54,656 positive cases followed by Kurnool(41700), Anantapur(37763), Visakhapatnam(33310) and Chittor(33133).
