In a relief to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy who wanted to introduce English Medium in the state run schools to provide English medium for the poor people, 96.17 percent voted for Engish Medium.

The parents told the same to the state government in written that they wanted their children to study in English Medium which in return will give them a brighter future and fetch a good job.

The state cabinet headed by CM Jagan deciding to introduce the English medium in all the government schools in the state from 1st to 9th classes has created quite a stir in the state.

The opposition has made an unwanted controversy out of this and displayed a rather unusual love for Mother language Telugu and asked the government to not go ahead with its decision.

This forced the state government to move the Andhra Pradesh High Court in this regard and the court has ruled out that the parents of the children have the right to decided the medium their kids will study.

With this, the government started collecting the opinion of the parents on in which medium they want their kids to study.96.17 percent of parents voted for English medium instructions.
