Parents Plea to Them, Who is Next?

But parents of Edward Kassig are pleading with his captors to free him. they urged in a video statement Saturday that their son has devoted his life to humanitarian work and aiding Syria's war refugees.
Edward Kassig founded a nongovernmental organization that provided aid for refugees fleeing from neighboring Syria due to civil war. But he extended his services to Lebenon led to his capture by militants on Oct. 1, 2013, while en route to eastern Syria. The video was a heartbreaking development for Kassig's family and friends, who had stayed silent since his capture while working to secure his release.
