Sri Peetam seer Paripoornananda Swamy breathed fire on Kamal Haasan over the remark that Hindu Extremists exists in India.
Paripoornananda Swamy: 'Kamal Haasan can't be Lokanayakudu. He isn't even a Local Leaders. You aren't Kamal Haasan…Terrorist Kamal Haasan. Those who described Hindus as Terrorists are real Terrorists. Would you emerge as a politician only if you criticize Hindu? Kamal has become Dharma Drohi by insulting Hindu Dharam. He had gone mad as his film kept failing. If he don't withdraw his remarks, Kamal will witness 'samhara prakriya' in next elections'.
Swamy opined Actors who wish to enter politics need to take inspiration from NTR who practiced Hindutva and respected other religions as well. He predicted Kamal's defeat in next elections if he doesn't withdraw his controversial remarks.
In his column for Tamil Magazine, Kamal Haasan accused Hindu Right-Wing Activists of resorting to violence to shut the mouths of people who find fault with them. He didn't hesitate to call such people as Hindu Terrorists.
