Paritala Sriram is the third generation leader from the Paritala family. His grandfather Sriramulaih and father Ravindra were popular names in the Anantapur region. Paritala Ravindra played a significant role in strengthening the TDP party in the region.
After Paritala Ravindra was assassinated in 2005, the TDP started losing hold of the Anantapur region.
