OMG: SCS To AP - Rajya Sabha Live Stopped!

Four years ago, Live Telecast of Lok Sabha Proceedings was stopped to pass the Telangana Bill. Similar thing happened in Rajya Sabha Today because of the same issue. These two developments will be remembered by the public for a very long period.
Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu halted live telecast of the proceedings in Rajya Sabha for half-an-hour expressing his displeasure over the disruptions caused by AP MPs over Special Category Status. TDP and YCP Members demanded discussion on issues related to Andhra Pradesh when the proceedings began on Monday. Even after Rajya Sabha chairman Venkaiah Naidu assured debate on AP issues will happen on Tuesday, AP MPs continued to disrupt the house proceedings. They didn't pay heed to the appeals made by Venkaiah Naidu. While TDP MPs surrounded the podium, YCP MPs protested standing at the seats allotted to them.
After cutting the live telecast, Venkaiah Naidu questioned AP MPs what for they were shouting when public aren't either hearing their slogans or watching their activities. Central Government might be realizing the price it has to pay for inviting the wrath of Telugus. Chances of smooth proceedings in Parliament look bleak until Special Category Status is accorded to AP.
