Given the rise in Coronavirus infections, wearing facemasks became mandatory. But people are exploring ways to not wear facemasks. As a harsh punishment, the government has seized the passports of two women for violating the Covid-19 guidelines by not wearing facemasks.

The shocking incident took place on Bali Island in Indonesia. A woman has a mask painted on her face rather than wearing a facemask. Her friend had filmed the video of her entering the mall with the paint.

The duo landed in a controversy after the video of them entering the supermarket in Bali with the face painting went viral on social media. The netizens have slammed the duo for violating the Covid-19 norms.

Considering the act as a violation of the Covid-19 restrictions, the Bali government has seized the passports of two social media influencers, who were identified as Josh Paler Lin and Leia Se.

Leia Se and Josh Paler Lin belong to Taiwan and Russia respectively. It is also said that the government might cancel their passports given the seriousness of their violation.

Almost all the countries in the world made facemask wearing mandatory and have been taking strict action against people, those who are floating the Covid-19 guidelines.
