The battle between TRS and Congress in Kodangal Constituency represented by Revanth Reddy is drawing all the attention ahead of the crucial Assembly Elections. While TRS fielded Patnam Narender Reddy, Congress would be preferring Revanth Reddy irrespective of the cases and controversies.
Actually, Kodangal Constituency was under the jurisdiction of Undivided Mahbubnagar District until the delimitation of districts in Telangana. It is now part of the newly created Vikarabad District.
Revanth Reddy banking heavily on his followers and supporters of Mahakutami. Whereas, TRS is relying on the migrations into the party and new localities merged with Kodangal during the reorganization of districts. Revanth Reddy is fighting the battle alone and confident of retaining his seat even if other Congress Leaders doesn't campaign in Kodangal.
