Pawan Fans On Rampage, TV Channels Ratings Down

We all know the ongoing developments in the Tollywood ever since casting couch issue has been raised. Miffed with the developments as his name was unnecessarily being dragged into the whole issue, Jana Sena chief waged a war with some media houses. He openly gave a call to boycott a few channels.
Taking inspiration from Pawan, his fans are seriously targeting TV channels. Pawan fans targeted Kathi Mahesh first. They made sure that Kathi Mahesh Twitter account removed. As they have raised thousands of complaints with the microblogging site, the Twitter authorities have verified the complaints and removed Kathi Mahesh Twitter handle.
Then, they have shifted their focus on to the TV channel apps on the Google Play and the Facebook pages. Every app in the play store has a rating option where the users give the rating from 1 to 5(Five being the top rating). The same procedure is followed for FB pages as well. Taking this option as a weapon, Pawan fans reportedly went on a rampage to give them 0 to 1 ratings. A popular TV channel used to have 3.6 stars rating before Pawan fans targeted it. Now it has been slid down to 1.5. Its rating on the FB page has been fallen to 1 out of 5 stars.
Sensing the real-time damage, a couple of other channels removed their rating option on their FB pages. On the other hand, some channels are also facing heat from the fans in YouTube telecasts as well. We have to wait and see how far this fight will go.
