Pawan In Delhi: For Panchayat Polls?
By: Tupaki Desk | 7 March 2020 4:32 AM GMTPower Star Pawan Kalyan's sudden whistle stop tour to Delhi, leaving his film shooting in the lurch has raised quite a few eyebrows. On Friday he rushed to Delhi and met BJP national president JP Nadda. He was part of a meeting with senior leaders like Sunil Deodhar and had a telephonic conversation with AP BjP president Kanna Lakshminarayana.
The major issue that came up for discussion was the local body elections. Sources said that Pawan and the BJP leadership have discussed the ways and means to work together for the local body elections and improve their tally. They feel this is important as an improved performance will set the tone for the 2024 elections. The last time Pawan Kalyan made a sudden visit to Delhi, he made the shocking announcement of an alliance with the BJP in Andhra Pradesh.
Currently, Pawan Kalyan is busy doing films. The work on his latest flick Vakil Saheb is in full swing. Even the district level review meetings of the Jana Sena these days are being conducted by former speaker and Jana Sena political affairs committee chief Nadendla Manohar. So, one wonders whether Pawan Kalyan would spare time for the campaign in the local body elections.
