Pawan kalyan Anatapur Public Meeting - Highlights
X
Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan on Thursday organized public meeting named as 'Seemandhra Hakkula Chaitanya Sabha' at the Government Junior College Grounds in Anantapur. He named the ground after revolutionary leader Tharimela Nagireddy and dais after freedom fighter Kalluri Subba Rao.

Here are the highlights of Pawan Kalyan's power-packed speech...

I had visited Anantapur for the Election Campaign, supporting TDP-BJP combine, in 2014.

I'm not the one who would run away when problems arise. I will address the issues and try to resolve them without giving up the fight at any point.

I admire the hospitality of People in Anantapur district. Actually, I was supposed to come here few weeks back. After Uri terror attack, I postponed the meeting as I felt that's not the right time to talk about Special Status.

Before speaking about Special Category Status, Let's remain silent for few minutes as a mark of respect for the Jawans who were killed in the Terror attacks. Bharat Mata Ki Jai!

When it comes to Special Category Status, The version of Centre always lacked clarity. Union Government has offered what us what should be given, nothing extra.

AP Government and Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu keeps saying Centre sanctioned a very good Special Package. There were leaders who projected heroes & attended felicitation ceremonies even though Special Status wasn't accorded.

Some people say, Special Status is a closed chapter. It could be a closed chapter for the Delhi Leaders but for people of Anantapur district, which is drought-hit, is equal to Amrut.

I am a farmer. Hence, I knew the pain of Anantapur Farmers. I'm ready to

If State Government is really committed, Why didn't they take concrete measures to address drought situation and drinking water crisis. Should we need Satya Sai Baba? Why can't Government do when Individuals could bring the change? I'm ready to take the farmers of this region in a special train to raise this issue in Delhi.

Hits don't give me happiness. My first political party office will be established in Anantapur only.

Certainly, I will contest 2019 Polls. I'm not against any political party.

How could TDP Government & CM welcome Special Package when there is nothing special about it?

I fight against Policies but there won't be personal rivalry against AP CM Chandrababu or Opposition Leader YS Jagan. If you don't stick to the promises in manifesto, Then I would become your enemy.

I have stepped into politics for the sake of people. If Chandrababu and Jagan don't correct their mistakes, Pawan Kalyan and Jana Sena won't remain silent. Crimes against women willn't be tolerated.

I always believe in Jai Jawan-Jai Kisan. We are killing the farmers who have been feeding us. I'm ready to sacrifice my life for the farmers. For Me, Farmers & Jawans are one and the same.

There are corruption allegations against TDP Government. I advise State Government to treat people of all regions equally. If decentralization doesn't happen, Then people of two region will clash seeking separate statehood. If the new capital only for the rich or common man?

Fighting against anti-social elements and issues in Films is easy. In reality, its a completely different story. Some time, We might lose even after fighting till the last breath.

Few people advise me to hold such meetings an year before the elections. I have come into politics for fighting on issues. Power is temporary but fight on issues is permanent.

Chandrababu says he wishes to built Singapore-like capital. Singapore doesn't mean tall structures. Its about eradicating corruption. Singapore PM who ruled for 25 Years punished friends for being corrupt. Are our Rulers willing to do that?

I have sought PM's appointment to raise injustice done to AP by denying Special Status. I'm yet to receive Modi's appointment.

Political Corruption should end for achieving change in the system. Jai Hind!
