PK's Agenda: Padayatra Followed By Fast!
By: Tupaki Desk | 4 April 2018 11:06 AM GMTPawan Kalyan announced his action plan as part of the movement to achieve Special Category Status. Upon holding talks with CPM, CPI Leaders at Jana Sena Office, A press conference has been convened to share the details.
First of all, Pawan Kalyan breathed fire on BJP for denying Special Status for AP and ensuring debate doesn't happen on the No Confidence Motion. 'We see it as a conspiracy against people of AP. Adjourning the Parliament repeatedly to avoid debate is against democracy. AP's Issue has now become a National Issue and ruined the entire Budget Session. Still, Centre hasn't responded. Allegations of TDP and YCP Leaders against each other in Delhi has been hurting Telugu's pride,' he complained.
Pawan Kalyan declared Padayatra will be conducted on behalf of Jana Sena, CPI & CPM on National Highways on March 6th which happens to be the last date for Padayatra. He added, 'In the areas where there are no Highways, Padayatra will cover Junctions. I will take part in the padayatra at Vijayawada. We will be holding meetings at Anantapur on April 15th, Ongole on April 24th and Vizianagaram on May 6th. I appeal people to actively participate in them'.
CPI AP Secretary Ramakrishna found fault with PM Modi for not even bothering to discuss with AP MPs for 10 minutes to resolve the issue even after No Confidence Motion was issued. 'There can't be much bigger insult to the democracy. Centre is treating people of AP as good for nothing. TDP and YCP should fight in AP if they have difference, what will they gain by crossing swords in Delhi?,' he questioned.
After Padayatra, Pawan Kalyan is keen to launch fast-unto-death for Special Status & Promises of AP Reorganisation Act 2014. At the same time, He is focussing on the people's issues. The plan is to stay in touch with people continuously and be more aggressive.
