Why Pawan chose Anantapur to contest in 2019?
By: Tupaki Desk | 14 March 2017 4:24 PM GMTPawan Kalyan officially declared that Jana Sena Party would be contesting 2019 General Elections in both the Telugu States.
When quizzed from where does he prefers to contest in 2014 Polls, Jana Sena Supremo declared Anantapur will be his choice because it's the most backward district in the state.
Anyone in Pawan's Position would have opted for a safe bet. Surprisingly, Jana Sena Chief picked up a district which is the strong hold of Telugu Desam. In 2014 Polls, TDP won 12 out of 14 Assembly Constituencies in Anantapur district. YSR Congress managed to win only in Uravakonda and Kadiri.
Mostly, Pawan Kalyan would be contesting from Anantapur Urban in 2019 Polls. The hint given by him would surely alert TDP Leadership.
