Farmer's Painful Words Moved Pawan
By: Tupaki Desk | 5 April 2018 5:49 PM GMTJana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan was the chief guest for the book launch of 'Evari Rajadhani' written by former AP Chief Secretary IYR Krishna Rao.
Pawan Kalyan: 'I could still remind the words of a farmer when ring road was laid in Hyderabad as part of city expansion and other needs. He said - Ooru Kosam Road Lu Veyadam Chusam Kani, Road La Kosam Oorine Tesiyadam Cholledu. Those are very painful words…which even makes us cry. Our development is such a dangerous thing. So, Rulers need to plan development in a responsible manner. If people in power ignore human angle, The rule will leads to cruelty. Leaders lose sensitivity by getting used to power'.
'This situation has arised because of the greed of the Rulers and their priority to party rather than people. When I supported TDP in 2014, I had asked CM Chandrababu how much of land is required for the new capital. Then, Babu said there is forest land in Mangalagiri, denotifying 1,800-acres of it is more than enough and we needn't take lands from farmers. This is exactly what he said. I am never against development but how to create revenue and how to use it for people's welfare matters the most. It's up to the conscience of rulers to decide if development should be for few people or all the people'.
