Power Star Pawan Kalyan, now Jana Sena chief, is now touring the nook and corner of North Andhra. He has been going to every major town and is holding meetings with intelligentia and opinion makers. He is also seeking to highlight the problems being faced in places like Uddanam.
But, why this special focus on North Andhra? Several explanations are being proffered for this. According to a Jana Sena insider, Pawan feels that East and West Godavari are in his kitty. There is a groundswell of support in these two districts. The youth especially is with him. But, Krishna and Guntur districts are goners. Pawan may not get much support from these districts. Ditto with Rayalaseema districts, where other factors dominate the political landscape. So, Pawan is left with only North Andhra, comprising three districts of Vizianagaram, Srikakulam and Visakhapatnam. Hence, he is concentrating in these districts, says the insider.
