Pawan Kalyan Hinting At Bringing Opposition Parties Together?

For the past few months, there has been a lot of confusion about the alliance between the parties in Andhra Pradesh. The confusion is around Janasena. While Pawan Kalyan indirectly expressed his interest to join hands with Telugu Desam Party, BJP’as entry changed the scenario.

Amid this, Pawan Kalyan made some interesting comments on the alliance. He said that the next elections will not be the same as the 2019 elections. Having said that, the Janasena chief maintained he will make sure that the votes will not get divided.

Political observers are saying that Pawan Kalyan dropped a massive hint on bringing all the parties under one roof so that the votes will not be divided. The same happened in the 2014 polls when TDP, BJP, and Janasena joined hands for the grand alliance.

This resulted in the alliance coming to power. YSRCP led by Jagan fell short of the magic figure. But things went upside down in the 2019 polls when the parties parted ways and went to the polls individually. The move was a big disaster for all the parties.

Telugu Desam Party barely managed to get 23 MLA seats while Janasena and Bharatiya Janata Party lost the polls cheaply. TDP and Janasena want to join hands so that it can come to power yet again in the state.

If Janasena, TDP, and BJP can join hands then no one can stop the alliance. Kapus are a strong vote bank and they can be a deciding factor in the polls. Kammas are entrepreneurs and hold businesses. BJP is in power in the Centre. This makes a deadly combination.

On the flip side, the employees and people are not happy with the current government due to various reasons. If the possible alliance can bank on this, then coming to power is a cakewalk for the parties.

If we look at the margin of the vote between the Telugu Desam Party and YCP in the 2029 polls, it is less than 5 percent in many seats. If Janasena would have walked with the grand old TDP then YCP might have not come to power. It appears Pawan wants to achieve this. We have to wait and see what the saffron party will do now.
