People who observed Pawan Kalyan closely say he is a walking library. Even someone like Trivikram Srinivas accepts it because of the special connection between his dear Friend & Books.

Pawan Kalyan reads books either when isn't shooting or during the shot gaps. Out of the respect he have for 'Aadhunika Mahabharatam' penned by Guntur Seshendra Sharma, The Jana Sena Chief even offered fund for the printing of its hard copies. He already completed reading CK Prahlad's 'Fortune At The Bottom Of The Pyramid' and developed a special liking for the book named 'Reality Transfuring'. It is learnt that he admires the literary works of Ramana Maharshi as well.

It has become a tough task for Pawan Kalyan to shift books from one location to the other, be it shootings, farmhouse and foreign countries. So, He began relying on kindle-editions for getting to know the stuff in best selling books globally. Carrying a small device in which over 1000 books can be stored makes the job easier. As of now, Pawan Kalyan is going through 'History of Western Philosophy' penned by Bertrand Russell.
