Jana Sena President Pawan Kalyan on Saturday met Ferry Boat mishap families in Ongole to give an assurance to them.
Pawan Kalyan was in foreign for the shoot of 'Agnathavasi' when the mishap happened. After expressing his condolences, He offered to meet the families of the deceased after landing in the country. Today, The Actor kept his promise by meeting them at NTR Kalakshetram in Ongole.
Ferry Ghat Victim Families felt happy with the way Pawan Kalyan spoke with each one of them. They complained that the mishap happened due to negligence and violation of norms. 'Had if rescue operation was launched immediately, At least few more people could have been saved,' opined the Victim Families.
Jana Sena Chief: 'It's unfortunate that a Tour which was meant for fun ended up as a tragedy. Loss of life in any family is indescribable and irreplaceable. Each and every family is in grief. Ex-gratia don't bring back the dead people alive. Those who are responsible for the tragedy has to face punishment. I am not here to blame Government or Employees. Politicians have been lacking sensitivity...Government has made it a habit to announce ex-gratia to end the episode whenever such tragedies happen. Public Representatives and Officials need to be responsible. Else, Tears will lead to Anger and Anger transforms into Movement...Governments collapse when such things happen. At least now, Tourism Minister Akhila Priya need to console the families of the victims'.
Instead of visiting the house of boat tragedy victims, Pawan Kalyan invited the families to a particular location to meet all of them at once. This has been a hot topic in the Prakasam district.
PK will be meeting Nellore and Prakasam District Party Activists at A-1 Convention Hall in Ongole at 2 PM on Saturday.
