YSR Congress Party has extended support to the demand of Kapu Reservations ever since Mudragada Padmanabham launched agitation demanding TDP Government to fulfill the poll promise. It was YCP which defended Mudragada and Kapu Leaders every time attempts were made to suppress the movement. Role of the Main Opposition in the success of Kapu Garjana in January 2016 can't be ignored. It was YCP Activists who faced false cases and suffered injuries during lathi-charges in the process of backing Kapu Reservations.
All of a sudden YS Jaganmohan Reddy has become a villan for Mudragada Padmanabham just for speaking facts instead of trying to cheat people with false promises. YCP Chief told implementation of Kapu Reservations is in the hands of Centre. Isn't it a fact?
Unfortunately, Mudragada declares YS Jagan has betrayed Kapus citing this reason. He even dared to say Kapus would offer Rs 20,000 crore if he announced a Kapu Leader as YCP CM Candidate.
What's even more surprising is that Pawan Kalyan, who hadn't spoken in support of Kapu Reservations all these years, has become a hot favourite for Mudragada all of a sudden. He showered praises on PK for promising to strive for inclusion of Kapu Reservation in IX Schedule of Constitution. He even informed Kapus would vote for the party which does justice to them in 2019 Polls.
As per latest buzz, Mudragada is all set to campaign in favour of Jana Sena Party. Pawan Kalyan could be offering Lok Sabha Ticket to him in the next elections.
It's a clear sign of PK banking heavily on kapu vote bank. Whether Kapus would rally behind Mudragada or not is the key here.
