Ready to join hands with Jagan: Pawan Kalyan
By: Tupaki Desk | 31 Jan 2017 4:15 PM GMTJana Sena Supremo Pawan Kalyan expressed his willingness to work with YSR Congress party for issues such as Special Category Status. 'As I'm inexperienced, If other parties come forwardâ¦I am ready to fight for Special Status with them. There is need to fight collectively for people's issues. I will always be by the side of people,' he said during the press conference arranged on Tuesday.
Pawan Kalyan breathed fire on Congress and BJP for bifurcating United AP in just 12 hours after dilly-dallying it for more than a decade. 'What is the need for announcing Special Package midnight? If Package is equal to Special Status, Why the announcement came when everybody was asleep?,' he questioned.
Responding on the allegations of Venkaiah Naidu, Pawan said: 'BJP-TDP Leaders didn't say a single word against me when I supported them. Now, They complain I am using Twitter as a weapon for political gains. At least, I'm sharing my views on Twitter. But, Our MPs aren't even demanding Special Status in Parliament. People lose faith on politicians and parties because of these opportunistic politics. When Indira Gandhi was the I&B Minister, There was an Anti-Hindi Movement. Then, She came out and assured that people's wish will be respected. After giving an assurance on Special Status in Parliament, BJP has gone back on the promise but they aren't ready to accept the injustice done to the people'.
