Pawan Says- They Should Get Padma Awards

Are North Indians are showing discriminatory attitude towards South Indians? There was a time when one should think twice before posing this question. But the situations are changing and the South leaders are also saying this. This kind of things used to be discussed by common people earlier but leaders are openly saying it now.
In fact, the central government has the responsibility to nip this kind of comments in the bud itself. We should not forget that if majority of the people feel the same, this will pose a threat to the national integrity of India. So, the central government should be extra careful whenever there is a chance for this kind of allegations.
Unfortunately, Narendra Modi government is not bothered by this kind of statements. They are acting as if they have never heard of such statements. If they are strategically doing it, then fine. Even though they are silent, they should act in such a way not to give scope for such comments. But Narendra Modi government didn't appear to be bothered about it.
Telugu people are severely upset over the Padma awards which are conferred to the eminent personalities every year on the Republic Day. Even though there are several eligible and eminent personalities in the Telugu states, none of them received Padma awards this year. While Telangana received not even a single award, AP got one.
Though Telangana government has sent a list of nominations for the Padma awards, central government has completely ignored it. It has become a controversy now. When reporters mentioned the same thing with Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan, he responded on the issue. He opined that a few more awards should be conferred to Telugus. He felt that the states should send nominations in such a way that people like SV Rangarao, Savitri should get awards. We have to see how our Telugu CMs are going to follow his suggestion or not.
