Jagan - Move Motion, I Am With You: Pawan
By: Tupaki Desk | 19 Feb 2018 3:51 PM GMTPawan Kalyan accepted the challenge thrown by YS Jaganmohan Reddy during his padayatra in Prakasam District in Today's press meet. 'I wish to say to Jagan that I entered into politics to face any consequences. I'm accepting his challenge. Jagan told he is ready to move No Trust Motion but his party doesn't have necessary strength in Lok Sabha. I will take the responsibility to get sufficient MPs to pass the No Confidence Motion,' he assured.
Jana Sena Supremo pointed out even a single MP could move No Trust Motion as per parliamentary guidelines. 'I want Jagan to meet Parliament Secretary General and convey that No Confidence Motion would be moved on March 5th against Centre & Council of Ministers. I will be in Delhi on March 4th to meet the Parties (Congress, CPI, CPM, AAP, TDP) and gather their support. If needed I would go to Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. YCP should move it Tomorrow or either on March 4th. Soon after the session resumes, Speaker would ask how many MPs would support the Motion. Not 54, Support of 50 MPs is more than enough. TDP and YCP jointly have 25 MPs. Recently, Even MP Kavitha supported AP and there are other TRS MPs. In Guntur meeting, Rahul Gandhi, Akhilesh Yadav and Muslim League demanded Special Status. If YCP moves the Motion, Then I will obtain the support required and 80 MPs would be backing it as per my knowledge. If YCP does it before March 5th, A debate should happen in Parliament within 10 days,' he said.
PK told the commitment of TDP will be known by the way how it reacts to the No Confidence Motion. He assured Jana Sena would stand by YCP if it faces any problems by saying, 'This isn't a party issue but people's issue. I would be happy give the credit to YCP if it moves No Trust Motion. I'm not TDP alliance partner, but just extended my support in 2014. I don't know if it moves the motion or not'.
Pawan Kalyan opined people have the feeling that TDP and YCP MPs are scared of PM. He further adds, 'TDP MPs remain silent if PM is in the House. YCP MPs stage walk out if PM enters Parliament. This is the last session as there could be early polls. Justice would be done only if collective effort is being put during this budget session. If YCP backs off, TDP have a chance to move the motion. I will be waiting to see who will move it'.
Jana Sena concluded the press conference by saying, 'Jaganmohan Reddy is a gutsy leader….if he revolts against Union Government, we are ready to support him. If needed, We will be on the streets for backing him'.
