Pawan Kalyan's Special Look In Dehradun

Janasena Party Chief visited Uttarakhand Capital Dehradun as part of his spiritual visit. He visited the holy shrine Haridwar. Upon reaching the 'Matri Sadan Ashram' in Haridwar, he met with ashram administrator 'Swami Sivananda Maharaj.
Haridwar Matri Sadan Ashram, which Pawan Kalyan visited stands as a venue of the struggle for the cleaning of Ganges. In the same Ashram, Swami Nigamananda went on a hunger strike for 115 days for purification of the Ganges. Swami Nigamananda sacrificed his life at 33 years. Professor G.D. Aggarwal also lost his life fighting for the purification of the Ganges.
Swami Nigamananda's grave is in the same Ashram. Pawan Kalyan visited the grave and offered his prayers.
Pawan Kalyan met Swami Shivananda Maharaj at Matri Sadan Ashram and he discussed various issues. Swami Shivananda Maharaj expressed his anxiety about the Ganges being polluted. No one is giving support from the South for this movement for the purification of the Ganges. He asked Pawan Kalyan to extend his support regarding this.
Pawan Kalyan spoke on this and said: "Polluting Holy Ganges means polluting our culture". There is a need to keep the Ganges holy. The responsibility of keeping the Ganges clean is on the government.
Swami Shivananda Maharaj offered Aarti to the holy Ganges. Pawan Kalyan participated in the Aarti. Ramon Magsaysay Awardee, Water Man Rajendra Singh was also present in the program.
Swami Shivananda tied the tradition turban to Pawan Kalyan. Pawan asked various questions about the history of the Ashram to Shivananda.
