Major Traffic Jam: Is it for Safety or Revenge?
By: Tupaki Desk | 25 July 2016 6:24 AM GMTBritain's exit from European Union respecting the opinion of majority of the people is having a huge impact on the Global economy. The recent terror attack in France where nearly 100 people were killed and several other suffered injuries has only complicated the situation.
Now, France Immigration Authorities were leaving no stone unturned to ensure such Terror Attack don't repeat in the country. Security has been beefed up across the border and no person is allowed to entry into the country sans undergoing a through check.
This eventually led to a huge traffic jam on the road leading to France from Britain. Commuters were stopped on the Channel Tunnel and Officials have been taking 40 minutes to complete the checking of each vehicle. At least, Two Days will be needed to clear the traffic.
British Government, on the other hand, can't have a say on the proceedings after Brexit and all it could do is offering water bottles to the commuters who got stuck in the traffic jam. Doubts have been expressed if this is a revenge tactic by France for Britain's exit from European Union.
