People should take Covid- 19 seriously and be more cautious
By: Tupaki Desk | 17 April 2021 7:56 AM GMTThe novel Coronavirus is creating havoc across the country. Over the past few weeks, the highest cases have been detected. With the cases increased rapidly, hospitals are reporting record admissions.
Despite the authorities saying that medical facilities are available in adequate numbers, the reality is quite different. There is a scarcity of hospital beds for the Covid-19 patients.
Along with this, the scarcity of oxygen supply is also a major concern. With a deficiency in oxygen supply, patients were even denied admission as the hospitals are not in a position to supply oxygen.
The situation has reached a level that, security and nurse staff in state-run hospitals are advising the patients to go to private medical facilities for treatment.
On the other hand, private hospitals are charging a bomb from the patients and several private hospitals are also suffering from a scarcity of medical facilities, like hospital beds and oxygen supply.
The other day, a photo went viral on social media which shows two people sharing a bed in a hospital. This is the sad reality in several places with the second wave of Coronavirus pandemic.
The fresh infections have increased at once with people showing negligence in following measures like wearing facemasks and maintaining physical distance with others outdoors.
This is high time everyone should take the pandemic situations seriously and follow safety measures with extra care. A little bit of negligence can lead us towards a deadly disaster.
India has reported more than 2 lakh cases for three days beating the United States in terms of reporting the highest cases in a single day. In the past 24 hours, India added 2.34 lakh new infections.
