People with high income tend to feel confident and less afraid: A study
By: Tupaki Desk | 6 March 2021 5:35 PM ISTThe perception of people towards money differs from one person to another. While some people think money is not everything, some others think having enough money in life makes living comfortable.
Now the American Psychological Association had carried out a study across 162 countries to know whether money gives confidence in life or not. The main agenda behind the study is to find out whether income affects emotions or not.
Not less than 1.6 million people have participated in the survey. The outcome of the survey is that people who earn a high income have confidence and proudness in their life.
Compared to the lower-income people, high-income people feel less afraid, while the lower-income people have emotions like sadness, fear, and sadness with their income. The study had especially focused on the emotions of people with various levels of income.
The study has found out that lower-income people will have effects like less self-esteem and fear in life. People who earn lower income will suffer from effects that last for a longer period of time, the survey said.
Having said that, the survey said a person will not be more passionate and grateful if he has more money. There is no significant data to prove this. We can't say more money comes with more compassion.
The article named "Income Robustly Predicts Self-Regard Emotions" said higher-income people will be positive, happy, and self-reliant compared to lower-income people.
