Permitting Private Hospitals For Pandemic Tests Is Too Late
By: Tupaki Desk | 16 Jun 2020 7:58 AM GMTWith the rapid growth of the positive cases of the contagious disease originated from the Dragón country China, the Telangana government headed by Chief Minister KCR permitted the private hospitals to conduct pandemic tests.
Though the government's move is a good step, the Congress party said the step is too little and too late to stop the spread of the contagious disease.
Telangana Congress Committee treasurer Gudur Narayana Reddy opined that despite Indian Council for Medical Research (ICMR) gave its nod to permitting private hospitals and laboratories to conduct the pandemic tests KCR delayed the process by one and half month.
Narayana Reddy stated that on the 6th of April, he asked KCR to look into permitting the private hospitals to conduct the pandemic tests, and back then the state has only 334 cases and 11 fatalities.
He found fault with KCR's negligent behavior, which pushed the lives of the public in danger and added that with the tests being conducted on a smaller scale the cases are scaling in the state.
