Personal reasons behind Rohit Vemula's Suicide

The Commission constituted by Human Resource Development (HRD) Ministry to enquire the reasons behind the suicide of HCU Research Scholar Rohith Vemula submitted its report. It clearly stated that Rohith Vemula committed suicide due to his personal frustrations.
Government-appointed Panel raised Questions on Rohith Vemula's Dalit status and told there are no proofs to confirm that his mother V Radhika belongs to the Mala community.
Commission has given clean chit to Union Ministers Smriti Irani and Bandaru Dattatreya. It also spared University Officials saying they hadn't worked under political pressure.
The Panel recommended Grievance Redressal Mechanism and Proper Counselling for students and research scholars to precent suicides.
