A Phone Call landed Tamil Nadu CS in IT net

The phone conversation of Tamil Nadu Chief Secretary P Rama Mohana Rao to his friend J Sekhar Reddy, who is a PWD Sand Contractor & TTD Member, came in handy for Income Tax department.
On the day Tamil Nadu CM J Jayalalithaa was laid to rest, Rama Mohana Rao was in touch with Sekhar Reddy and they discussed about how the cash available with them could be kept safely. IT Officials had already tapped Sekhar Reddy by then. So, It became easy for them to corner Tamil Nadu CS.
Rama Mohana Rao trusts Sekhar Reddy so much that a special pass was given to his vehicle to enter Tamil Nadu Secretariat. Sekhar Reddy has been in regular touch with AIADMK Ministers and IAS Officers since note ban. IT Sleuths seized Rs 132 crore cash and 177 kg gold from Sekhar Reddy. Money Laundering Case was booked against him and he was sent to remand till January 3rd after the arrest.
Income Tax Officials seized Rs 30 lakh in new Rs 2,000 notes, 5 kg gold and Rs 5 crore worth undisclosed assets during the raids at multiple places belonging to Tamil Nadu Chief Secretary P Rama Mohana Rao.
