Phone-tapping fears stalk TRS leaders in Huzurabad

One of the biggest fears among the politicians in poll-bound Huzurabad is speaking into their phones. The politicians are wary of picking and answering calls. There are wide-spread fears of phone-tapping in Huzurabad constituency. As a result, the leaders are preferring to talk in person or use whatsapp call facility.
The buzz in Huzurabad is that at least over 1000 phones are being tapped and that key leaders in TRS are the special target. The TRS leaders fear that several party leaders are in touch with Eatala and are passing sensitive information. To offset this, the TRS mandarins have reportedly begun tapping their own party leaders’ phones. As a result, the politicians are not preferring to talk to their friends, allies and acquaintances over phone.
Ever since the Padi Kaushik Reddy episode came to the fore, the politicians have gone into a high alert mode. It may be recalled that Reddy talked to several Congress workers and told them that the TRS would give him the party ticket. This was prematurely leaked and Reddy was suspended from the Congress Party. This blew the lid off a carefully hatched plan of the ruling TRS. Also, several TRS leaders were taken to task for talking to the Congress and the BJP leaders. They were shocked when the TRS bosses reproduced the details of their conversation with the BJP and the Congress verbatim.
Some politicians, especially those from the TRS, are said to be changing their SIM cards on an hourly basis to confuse the officials who are tracking them. The BJP and TRS workers, who are in constant touch are said to have developed a courier system to communicate. Voice mails are being exchanged on whatsapp and audio files are being sent through cloud computing to prevent their hacking.
