Indian cricketer Dinesh Karthik and squash champion Dipika Pallikal got engaged in a hush-hush ceremony at a star hotel last week.
Dipika's mother confirmed the reports of engagement and made it clear they wanted to keep it strictly a family affair.
Dinesh Karthik represented India in several international matches and also playing for IPL Franchise Mumbai Indians. His love affair with Dipika is a well-known secret among the sporting circles. However, the couple waited for the right time to make it public and now they are ready to take their relationship to the next level.
In fact, this is second marriage for Dinesh who tied the knot to Nikitha in 2007 and later divorced her. Dipika is Ajuna Award winner and ages 21-year-old. Both of them hail from Chennai.
