Using an unusual platform of a rock concert, Prime Minister invoked "can do" attitude of youth to change India and the world while addressing a thousands-strong crowd, which gathered for "Global Citizen Festival" in Central Park.Modi shared stage with Hollywood star Hugh Jackman at the event.
Modi was introduced by actor Hugh Jackman to huge applause and spoke on issues of sanitation, cleanliness and global peace.
Modi said, "Some believe that the world changes with the wisdom of the old. I think that the idealism, innovation, energy and 'can do' attitude of the youth is even more powerful.".Addressing the crowd, Modi sent his "Namaste" to also those watching the concert on "TVs, laptops, tablets and phones".
