Oscar winning Indian music director gets a rare honour in Canada.One of the street in Canada renamed with the title of AR Rehman. Markham, Ontario (Canada) has dedicated one of its street's name to A R Rahman! Here is the picture of Rehman carrying the street name board.
In his 20 years career , AR Rahman achieved many things including winning couple of Oscar Awards in 2008 .He has won, two Grammy Awards, a BAFTA Award, a Golden Globe, four National Film Awards, fifteen Filmfare Awards and thirteen Filmfare Awards South in addition to numerous other awards and nominations. Rahman is currently one of the highest paid composers of the motion picture industry. He has also become a notable humanitarian and philanthropist, donating and raising money for beneficial causes and supporting charities.
